Community Playback Theatre has been an important community resource for 20 years.  It was established in 1985 by Judy Swallow, one of the founders of Original Playback Theatre.

In addition to contracted workshops and performances and community events, Community Playback Theatre has offered Playback Jams, classes, and open rehearsals for those who want to jump in and try out being an actor in the playback improvisational style, as stories are shared in a less formal setting than a regular performance.

We perform the first Friday of each month at Boughton Place, on the original Moreno stage, at 8 pm. Admission $6. For those who have seen Playback and want to participate in the action, the Thursday following our first Friday show,  is open rehearsal at 8pm at Boughton Place.

Boughton Place is located at:
150 Kisor Road
Highland, NY 12528 Tel: (845) 691-7578

We are also available for conferences, parties and reunions, wherever sharing our stories fosters a sense of closeness and understanding.
